Pet care experience
My family has had a dog for as long as I can remember. When I was 14, Chloe came into my life and opened up a world of possibilities. I learned a lot about dogs, including walking, training, care, and developing a general instinct for their behavior. I think of dogs as my "spirit animal", and a part of nature that teaches us how to love unconditionally. They teach us to enjoy the moment and that no one should ever have to be alone. I have an 8am-5pm job on Mon-Fri but am willing to provide services in the evenings, weekends, and weekdays just as long as we can manage it around work and church. :) Your dog will be one of my top concerns and priorities.

Excellent! Rebekah is always careful with Bama. When I returned, I could tell that he was feeling great and so had taken his meds on time. She had cleaned the kitchen, put away the linens that I set out for her, and brought in mail. Rebekah is wonderful!

I do best with short-haired breeds that have even tempers and are routine and very well behaved. I will feel more comfortable taking care of your dog if I know he has stable behavior. As far as a personal preference, I really enjoy Labradors and mixes and any other kind of dog that is generally laid back, playful, sweet-natured, and goofy. But I'm really flexible in the grand scheme of things just as long as we get along! I have senior dog experience, too, so just as long as they can get around, I love a sweet dog with a seasoned life and treat them with respect for a life well lived.
A typical day
I'm in good health so if you need someone to give your dog a good walk I can provide that service, either primarily or in addition to any check-ins or house stays. I love to play with dogs and I really enjoy just chilling with them, too. I taught my dog tricks so if you want me to give it a whirl, I'll be happy to give it a try! I bathed my dog at home so if your dog is okay with baths and you have the bathing soap, I can provide that, too.
