There’s just nothing like getting to spend your time with a loving pup! Dogs are the most trusting creatures, and they’re always there for you when you need them. I’ve always tried to emulate their giving spirit, as they’ve definitely inspired me to do what I can to give back to them whenever possible. That’s why choosing a career involving dogs and animals is something I gravitated towards. I can give pups the love they need to thrive all while providing owners with peace of mind while they’re away from their best friend. I’ve loved dogs all my life and have likewise been a lifelong dog owner as well! I am currently the retail manager for 4 high end dog food stores that are located in San Diego county. I recently lost my senior maltipoo in April 2021, she was 15 and the best little old lady, and my family dog, a blue nose Pitbull, currently lives with my mom in Southern Oregon. I’ve also been taking care of animals in a professional setting for a long time now as manager at a dog daycare and boarding resort, sitter, and walker. I've had experience with dogs as small as a teacup Chihuahua and as large as a 150-pound Great Dane. Pups of all stripes are welcome! Transparency is key with this kind of job. I do work 8-9 hour days and if I am doing and overnight with your pup or cat I do not always have the capability to check on your dog unless you live very close to where I am working. Distance from my job to your house play a huge factor in this situation and it may vary depending on the days you need me and the client. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that the key to a good stay is plenty of communication. I always provide owners with updates throughout the stay so you can get detailed information on how your pup is faring with me. Additionally, I’ll always send accompanying pictures when I’m with your pup so you can see just how much fun we’re having together! I’ll always keep my channels of communication open if you need to get in touch with me for any reason, so never hesitate to reach out!
