Pommy's Play House

Pet care experience

Hello, I am a recent graduate, holding a degree in Surgical Technology. I work part-time at a veterinary clinic, as a veterinary technician. I am also certified in CPR through American Heart Association. My current living situation is with my daughter a 6 year old (Pomeranian) named Pomela, and my fiance. We would love for the opportunity to meet, care for and give your pet the attention he/she needs while you are vacationing or at work. Animals are not only a joy, but have been a passion and apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I am home most of day, so all my love and affection can be to your fur baby. I can give solo walks or walks that are accompanied with Pomela. My walks can vary from a leisure walk to a jog/run around the neighborhood. I will make sure your fur baby gets fresh air and does his/her business all while stretching their legs. The experience I've gained working as a vet tech has been life changing. I have fostered and re-home many pets. I learned every pet is different and needs to be approached in a calm manner. Boarding and the simple absence of a parent/owner can be hard for some pets to handle, but I do my best to make their stay as comfortable as I can. I have worked with all ages and all breeds. I am comfortable and able to give any special eating schedule, oral medications, and injections if needed in my care. In a case of an emergency, a vet clinic is within a 5 to 10 minute drive. We can't wait to meet you!

I had plans to leave our dog at the vet's kennel, but after I booked it, I just didn't think I could leave him there. He is such a sweet boy and I knew he needed love and attention while we were gone and I just didn't think with all the other pets there, that he would get the attention he was used to since we adopted him from a rescue group a year ago. This was the first time for us to leave him and the whole family was nervous about it. After talking with someone at work, I revisited the option of finding someone to watch him instead. Rover.com came to my rescue. I did a quick search and found Rebeka nearby. She was quick to respond and we set up a meet and greet. After meeting with her, I decided to leave my dog with her and her fiance. They were both very nice and Grover seemed to like them both. Pom and him were so cute together & I thought they would also get along good. I felt very confident while we were gone that our boy was being well taken care of and Rebeka sent photos so we could see he was having fun. We were all missing Grover, but knew he was getting the love and care we wanted him to so we were able to enjoy our vacation and not worry about him. I highly recommend Rebeka and her fiance if you need someone to take care of your dog and will definitely reach out to them in the future if we need somewhere to leave him again. It was a great decision.

I am a veterinarian and had the pleasure of working with Rebeka for two years. She was always kind and gentle with every animal, and gave each one special attention as though it were her own pet. She could always be trusted to monitor patients carefully and complete procedures that were required. I would not hesitate to leave my own pets in her hands.

To Whom It May Concern I am 31 years of age and have know Rebeka for 26. Since I have known her she has always owned a dog and she has cared for them to the very best of her abilities. She is very loving and patient and animals love her. She was a veterinary technician and exelled in her work and this is why she would be a great pet sitter as a person you will never have to doubt that your pet is in awesome hands while they are under the care of Rebeka.
