Loving and Trustworthy Dog-Walker Does your dog need a good squirrel sighting? A tour of the best smells of your neighborhood? An invigorating trot? A live personal classical cello concert to soothe anxiety and reduce canine stress? Or just some belly rubs? Look no further! As a New Yorker who works from home, I love dogs, but am not allowed to have one in my building. I am thrilled to lovingly care for yours. I grew up taking care of our West Highland Terrier, MacTavish, who would continue to respond to my Positive Reinforcement Dog Obedience training long after everyone else in my family gave up. I also worked as a dog walker during high school and after college for dogs ranging from a Mystery Muttigree to a Rhodesian Ridgeback! I love dogs' empathy and sensitivity to humankind, and I am excited to nourish the dogs of New York via Rover! During our walks or visits, I will care for your dog with the same love as if it were my very own. Since I am a cellist, as part of my services, (as long as it is copacetic in your building), I usually play classical cello music live for your dog during housesits or visits, which recent studies have shown is very soothing and reduces anxiety. In my own experience, I've also found this to be true. I also like to sing soothing songs to the dogs I sit for! PS. I work from home as a concert cellist and online math tutor for creative kids. So in particular for dogs I am sitting, your dog will get plenty of attention and love during our visits, because I work from home.
