Certified Dog Trainer Available!
Pet care experience
While your pup stays with me you can be at ease knowing they are with a professional! I have a background in dog training, veterinary care, and over 20 years of experience as a pet care provider. I am a Certified Dog Trainer who has trained dogs through puppyhood, basic training and manners, reactive rehab, service dog training, search and rescue, and increasing confidence in shy dogs. I have been training dogs in the Austin Area for the last 7 years. You can rest knowing your dog will be well cared for and keep their training! My mission is to ensure a safe and happy environment for all pets when their owners cannot be there themselves. By taking the time to understand the needs of both clients and their pets, I will reduce stress while pet parents are away and will ensure the health and safety of all pets, giving them the exercise, love, and companionship they need to be happy and carefree. I see dog sitting as a time to help your dog experience life to their fullest. This includes an increase in communication with training and introducing your dog to new places and activities. Each dog receives what they need in order to feel confident and joyful like fun games, relaxing messages, daily long walks, hikes and maybe even a trip to Starbucks for a puppachino!
Reviews
Best dog sitter ever! Rebecca does a great job asking questions and really listening to your instructions. She took extra time to play and work on some training activities. Highly recommend her!
Becca is the one of the best sitters I've ever had. Besides possessing the basics: punctuality, good communication, and caring about my dog- she's gone above and beyond- especially with the training. My 75lb German Shepherd is a "puller" and it's always been a chore walking him. Gradually, Becca has been training him to walk loose on his leash. Hallelujah! She's also improved his recall and taught him new tricks like "touch." Summer afternoons in Austin are generally too hot for walking dogs. Becca came up with creative ways to exercise my boy so he could blow off some steam but still be safe in the heat. I highly recommend Becca! She's not only a fantastic walker but also a caring, humorous, and dedicated person.
Becca was great. Bubba and Jolie seemed to really like her. She also responded quickly to my initial request and kept me informed while I was away. She was flexible and very responsible.
Rebecca was fantastic! Our dog was so relaxed and happy when she came home, walked better on the leash & (a big indicator in how at home she felt) ate well throughout the stay.

Saftey is my number 1 concern. While in your home I will follow any guidelines set by the owners as well as see what the dog’s needs are. Some dogs like to find trouble when they are bored, so keeping your dogs mentally and physically stimulated is just as important for their saftey as for they ability to relax while their family is away.
Information Rebecca Y. would like to know about your pet
A free consultation is a must. I like to hear the owner out in person and get to know the pet before I begin my sits so that I can customize each sit to the specific pet.
A typical day
Each dog is catered to depending on breed, age, and training. We start out close to home where I can see how your dog is when they are comfortable in their surroundings. After that, I tailor a plan to fit your dog's abilities and personality. For our more introverted dogs, we will go to a less populated park, to Lowes, or to a half priced books. For our more extroverted dogs, a walk around Zilker Park! While we are at home, we will play lots of games which help the dog learn training cues and proper home etiquette, relaxation time with messages, and playtime with dog friends!
