Pet care experience
We love dogs! I work from home and am always available for walks, potty breaks, and play time. My husband was a dog handler/trainer with the Marine Corps for 6 years and trained in basic canine First Aid/CPR. We have two dogs that have both successfully completed dog training. Our dogs have spent extensive time at the dog park, hiking, and frequently join us at restaurants and dog-friendly venues like Home Depot and pet conventions. Our 2-year old daughter is not scared of dogs and loves helping us feed, play, and go on walks with them. She is learning her basic dog commands/proper dog etiquette and loves giving dogs friendly pets and kisses if they are okay with it. We live in a quiet neighborhood that is very dog friendly and have a large fenced yard for the dogs to romp in. We have a quiet and calm life and if your dog is agreeable we are happy to go out for hikes, play ball/frisbee, have treat time, or fill up a small doggy pool for fun summer-time cool downs.

Rebecca took excellent care of my three dogs (and turtle) while I was away for 11 days. She sent daily email updates with photos. When one of my dog's chronic health issues flared up into something more serious, Rebecca took immediate action. She communicated with me and then took charge by getting vet care. I felt confident (while half way around the world) that my dog was getting the best follow-up care possible from Rebecca in the days that followed. I wouldn't hesitate to call Rebecca again for housesitting/dogsitting.
