I don't know a time when cats and dogs haven't been part of my life! My family has always had pets, and, for the past 17 years, I've taken care of them professionally. I was a career nanny/household manager in and around the NYC area, and my bosses, neighbors, friends and family, and roommates have all relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and love on their fur babies. I am affectionate to both cats and dogs of all breeds, and feel confident that I can, in time, become a safe space for even the most shy and timid cat or dog.

Rebecca was perfect for watching our high maintenance dog while we’re gone for 4 days. We came to a happy excited dog. Rebecca communicated throughout our trip and always sent pictures during a check in. So happy to have found a reliable kind person to care for our dog.
Prior to our booking Rebecca was great at communication and very professional. She made it easy to work out a non-standard schedule that the app scheduling didn’t support. We left on our trip confident that our babies were going to be in good hands and she delivered! We arrived home to three very happy cats. Definitely will book again!

Our home has one young pup that LOVES the company of other gentle, playful dogs. I am more than happy to host play dates outside of the house, but as of right now we do not offer boarding or daycare. We are hoping to introduce that in the spring once our fence is installed and our pup has a nice established relationship with a few fur friends!

I would ideally like to meet you and your pet(s) ahead of time so we can establish a friendly interaction while you're around. But in the meantime are there: Any allergies I should be aware of? Is there any medications or supplements I will be administering? Is there any food/toy aggression that you're aware of? Do they chew on anything besides toys? Most frequently used commands that they respond to?
A typical day
Let's play! Whether that's being your pups hype man for zoomies, playing fetch, tug of war, and hide and seek, or your cats instigator with ping pong balls, feather wands, bells or cardboard boxes! We can also go on walks in your neighborhood or local dog friendly park.

Availability
I'm new to the Michiana area and currently working as a real estate agent. I make my own schedule, which offers me a lot of flexibility, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pets! Unless otherwise noted on the calendar, I am available 7 days a week, and will always connect with my clients before the visit to confirm my 2-3 hour window of arrival. Communication and collaboration are key- if you know your pet isn't feeling well, needs meds administered, suffers from separation anxiety, etc- we can come up with a plan that works best for them.
