My name is Rebecca and I have over five years of experience working with dogs professionally. I formerly worked at a veterinary clinic as a Kennel Assistant for four years, where I walked and cared for all kinds of breeds of dogs with varying temperaments, ages, and medical needs. I routinely administered medicine to dogs, both orally and with injections. I also have worked as a professional pet sitter for over three years as well, doing both overnight stays and check-ins. I currently am self-employed and am able to make my own schedule, which means I can be available at any time, whether it is weekdays or weekends, and can be available on some holidays as well. This also means that I'm able to spend a lot of time with your dogs while doing drop-ins or house sitting, and can go for longer walks as well. I am also physically fit and active and can walk dogs long or short distances as needed. Breeds of dogs that I've consistently cared for for in the past include great pyrenees, west highland terriers, huskies, a poodle mix, a senior shih-tzu, and a diabetic pug. I'm also familiar with a variety of harnesses, leashes, and techniques for handling big strong dogs. I just love big fluffy dogs and adorable lap dogs!
