I try to learn from animals

Pet care experience

I am very good with all animals. Everyone says “I have a passion for animals” but my passion is to understand them and learn from them. Why are they cranky? Why are they pacing? why does she keep pawing at me? My passion is to try to understand animals in a way and I know that kind of sounds weird. But if you think about it we have to do almost everything for them so why not do it right and try to get down to the source of what they want so they can be as comfortable as possible. Anyway, I am a very hyperactive person especially in the early morning. So I usually do walk time around 7am and then 2 more throughout the day. I am very attentive to animals: baths, walk, diets and potty time are all things I pay close attention to. If you are going out of town for the holidays and need to leave your pup at home then I’m your girl! If there are any specific diets, allergies or special needs for your dog that I need to know about just let me know and I will make sure to tend to those needs closely. I look forward to meeting you and your best friend.

As a first time dog mom I was really anxious about leaving my dog with someone, I felt very confident after meeting with Rebecca & talking with her. It was very important to me for someone to be with her for most of the afternoon/thru the night because she is a puppy & I didn’t want to leave her alone, and I was worried about accidents. When I arrived in Florida I had gotten pictures, but realized she was only there briefly due to my furbo & never returned. I started to get nervous once it got late & messaged to see when she would be back. I was told she went grocery shopping then was going to see her mom. I waited an additional 1-1 1/2 still no show, so I reached out again & she told me she had a family emergency. At this time it was almost 11, my dog has been alone for way too long. After speaking with her I was notified she wouldn’t be coming back to the house. The sad part is I had to basically ask for her to tell me the truth. I unfortunately was up till 2am working with rover to get a new sitter & my first night away was a complete mess. She was very apologetic & I understand things happen but if you are aware of something going on, you should notify the person paying you.. if I wouldn’t have reached out she would of never told me what happened. The next morning my friend came to let her out, she had peed on herself and was starving. I also found it extremely odd that she left her car at my house all weekend? If you were driving to get groceries & to see your mom, why was the car still here until the night before I came back home. I think Rebecca would be better fit maybe doing Uber or Postmates that way she won’t be harming or leaving animals a lone all night, or making promises she cannot keep. I was very nice & only wished for the same respect. I wish her the best, but wouldn’t want someone else to go thru what I had too therefore I am leaving this review for people who may be considering Rebecca.

Rebecca sat Maddie for a week and took good care of her. Her dog, Porkchop, is a sweetheart, but energetic definitely. However, I only got one text and one photo after I texted on the next to last day...A little more updating is always appreciated. Thanx, Chuck

This was a complete nightmare! I live in Dallas and was on a trip in college station texas. I drive from college station to austin for a one day trip for work in which Rebecca was supposed to watch my dog for 5 hours total. We spoke and the trip was confirmed the morning of the stay she reached our to confirm the time. I shouwed up at her house on time and she ignored my call and my text while I was sitting in front of her home. After 40 mins I left and took my dog with me to sxsw for WORK and had to explain why I had a dog with me. Rebecca finally gets the guts to text back and here is her response: “I am so sorry! I got caught up with family stuff and completely forgot! Of corse you can have a refund. Again I apologize“ Give me a break! She forgot she commited to watching a dog and that she asked what time I was arriving just two hours before? She is the person that gives millennials a bad name. Selfish and inconsiderate. Thanks for leaving me and my dog hanging. Hope she doesn’t forget your dog too!

Rebecca was so nice and patient with Odie and flexible with time. Loved that Odie made new doggy friends and became comfortable as we are working on socializing him since he’s so shy.
