Pet care experience
You love your dog and you want him or her to have a good time in a safe and loving home while you are away. I feel the same way about mine. My pets are family. I have over 30 years experience in caring for dogs as a foster mom for various animal welfare organizations. I served on the board of directors at Gulf Coast Humane Society prior to moving to Indiana. I currently volunteer as a foster mom for Humane Society of Scott County, Indiana and am passionate about helping them to save more pets. By fostering and pet sitting my dogs are very accustomed to having furry guests. They are all sweet, happy, friendly dogs. I have an open floor plan home which gives all plenty of room to play and relax. I would love to meet you and your best friend if you would like to set up a meet and greet! Important! I am not able to care for dogs as listed below: Aggressive, excessive barker, jumps up on people, separation anxiety, pulls on a leash, territory marker.
Reviews
This was our first time leaving our fur baby with anyone other than family. Rebecca made it so easy, and we were comfortable that she was in good hands. Rebecca maintained contact throughout the week Jemma was there, sent pictures and the occasional video, and contacted us with any concerns that arose. I highly recommend her, and she will be the first person I contact if our family sitter is unavailable.
My two pugs just completed their first stay with Rebecca. Rebecca truly cares for your dog as her own. She is loving, professional, responsible, and does whatever is necessary to ensure your dog has the best experience possible, and she communicates well with the owner. I appreciated her wonderful care, and she will be my go-to in the future.

Rebecca was truly amazing. She kept me updated on how he was doing throughout the time he was with her and sent pictures. My fur-baby was very well taken. I highly recommend Rebecca!

Information Rebecca S. would like to know about your pet
For the happiness and safety of your dog and mine, I require meet and greets to insure all dogs are compatible. Any guest dog must be friendly toward people and other dogs. Any dog in my care that shows aggression to or bites another dog or person will be crated until other arrangements can be made. I am not able to care for dogs that are excessive barkers. If your dog barks for a minute or two when playing, happy or excited, that is normal but if your dog's barking disturbs your neighbors, their barking will disturb mine.
A typical day
Guest dogs are treated as my own. If they want to cuddle up with me and my furkids at bedtime, I am fine with that! I do encourage dogs to behave and give lots of praise and treats when they do. I will continue with your training routine if required. Please provide me with your dog's age, size, breed, and personality. I require visiting dogs be up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines. Please let me know if your dog has special fears or needs. Chances are I have some experience with handling. I have cared for over 400 dogs and they have been all ages and breeds. I rarely meet a dog I don't love and I feel they know it. They behave well for me because I am the pack leader in this house (most of the time). :)
