I have always been a pet lover. Growing up I had fish, hamsters, gerbils, and at the age of 10, I convinced my parents to add a Cocker Spaniel mix puppy, to our family. She was high-energy, loved taking walks, playing ball, and barking at anyone who walked by the house. I also cared for many of the "classroom pets" taking home guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, turtles, and lizards on the weekends. I later became the "neighborhood-go-to," for pet sitting until I moved away to attend college and continued to relocate for my career. I am currently a mother to our a Labrador Retriever/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. Like his parents, he enjoys traveling and outdoor activities: long walks, swimming, hiking, and even playing in the snow. He also loves hugs, shaking hands, and massages/rubs. We trained him to be 'off-leash,' resulting in neighbors commenting on "how well behaved he is."
