I have had the pleasure and joy of being around animals all my life. My first four legged doggie friend was Ginger, a golden retriever, that cemented my lifelong love of animals! My caring nature and desire to help others has lead me to a career in nursing and I’ve been a registered nurse for humans for over 17 years. After achieving a personal and professional nursing milestone, I have begun the process of switching to animal nursing. I’m very excited! I currently work at a local Veterinarian clinic and hospital that has been around for 40 years surviving the animal care needs of the community. I find great joy in helping both humans and animals, it's the best of both worlds. I also volunteer at the local animal shelters and am an adoption coordination/reference checker through Operation Paws for Homes in my spare time. I have a caring touch, gentle nature, and plenty of patience. I love to take photos and send them to owners for "pupdates" throughout the day or on walks. As my veterinarian position hours vary in scheduling, personal discussion of specific walks and house checks is best however I do have a large amount of flexibility. Just let me know your preferred times of day! I can performs house checks in morning, mid-day, or evenings depending on location, again this is situation specific and I am very flexible to meet client and animal needs.
