Pet care experience
ALL PRICES NEGOTIABLE!!! I originally signed up for Rover as a Summer gig to save some funds for when I begin Optometry School in August 2020. It has now become my full time career, and it is the best one I could have asked for (who wouldn't want to spend their day with cute, cuddly clients who are never unhappy and always leave a tail-wagging good review)! Luke and I are Grapevine residents and had three dogs up until the beginning of October. Zoe, a 12(ish) year old Pomeranian has been with me since 2014 when I found her wandering the streets of Fort Worth. She has been my dependent little princess ever since, but she definitely never let her BIG little brothers think she wasn't tough enough to handle them! Henri is our newest addition, a "miniature/toy" Bernese Mountain Dog rescue, weighing in at about 75 lbs. We adopted him in May 2019 after his previous owner could no longer take care of him after she lost her husband. He is a quirky, goofy love bug and has the best head tilts! Our sweet Audemars, a 118 lb Bernese Mountain Dog, unexpectedly crossed the Rainbow Bridge on October 2, 2019 after needing emergency surgery for a blockage. Though the procedure was expected to be quick and easy with minimal recovery time, Audie had many complications after surgery and did not make it through the night. During his 24 hour stay, we managed to reach an over $10,000 bill and a lifetime of heartache for losing our sweet, perfect boy. Rover.com has now become our means of additional income to help alleviate the cost of this tragedy as well as my emotional support (because what better therapy than getting to see sweet fur babies every day). Please visit Facebook Fundraiser: "Audemars' Emergency Surgery and Recovery" or message me if you would like to learn more about and support Audemars' story. I have had dogs, cats, and birds my whole life and started pet sitting for neighbors in grade school. After leaving for college, I continued to provide pet care to friends, family and neighbors. My career in the optometry field took much of my time away these last few years, so in this time before leaving for Optometry school, I want to spend my time with your fur babies! I am available for daytime potty breaks and walking at your home. I can spend up to 30-45 minutes at each visit to give your babies some play time and relief. Having gone through multiple training classes with our past and present pets, I will also be able to work with your pet to learn some basic commands as well as some fun tricks. Overnight stays will be considered on occasion depending on location and duration. I hope we get to meet soon!

I just wanted to say how wonderful, sweet and kind Rebecca is. She took care of Winter, she loved Winter as much as I do. I appreciate you and I will forever be grateful, thank you for taking care of Winter. What are the chances you can move to Jacksonville Florida? 😊
Excellent is not enough of a word to describe the level of care my dog received. Previously when I came home I could see the stress in Sam's face due to me being gone. After having Rebecca take care of him for 5 days I came home to a happy camper. Rebecca was consistently on time and sent great photos and kept me up to date on how Sam was doing. So good, I've already engaged her for my next trip.
Rebecca did an amazing job taking care of our two dogs! Excellent communication while we were away. She takes amazing pictures and keeps you in the loop!
Another great sitting by Rebecca. My dogs love her.
