Pet care experience
Hello pet parents! I recently moved to Arvada from Asheville NC, and am now ready to reactivate my profile! I work as a Veterinary Technician/Assistant in Denver at a 24hr emergency clinic. I am an all around animal lover, I had an amazing goldendoodle for the best 10 years. She has passed on a few years ago and realized how much of an impact she had on my life. Currently I have another amazing dog who is 3 years old and is just an absolute joy. I have historically pet-sat for friends and for my boss, an I work with dogs and cats all day long with my job. I am known to naturally comfort dogs who have separation anxiety, or who are hyperactive. I also have hands on experience with puppy training. All animals are wonderful, but dogs have always been my favorite. I look forward to meeting all of the puppers and doggos in the Arvada/Denver area!

Rebecca is amazing!!!! She saved my life with a last minute booking... and by last minute, I mean, I needed her within 15 minutes of me booking!! She was great, sent pictures, my dogs loved her and I couldnt be happier with her service!

I have 20 years experience as a dog owner and 4 years experience as a Vet Tech seeing dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, and reptiles. I am comfortable administering medications in pill, syringe, or injectable forms. I can preform IM, IV, and SQ shots.
Information Rebecca P. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know any allergies or behavioral concerns so I am prepared to meet your pup's needs. I would also like to know baseline expectations such as “we normally play fetch until my dog lays in his bed” or “ Fido gets a treat every time he peed outside”. This is important because dogs love a routine and sticking to that routine can make them feel more comfortable with strangers and relive stress.
A typical day
I want to do what your pets want to do, guided by you. If your dogs favorite activity is fetch then that’s what I’ll do!

Availability
I’m currently working full time at an animal ER, three 12hr shifts a week. Days I have marked as “unavailable” are likely because I’m scheduled at the ER. On my days off I can do drop in visits at any time.
