There hasn't been a moment that I've not had some form of animal to care for in my life. From the time I could walk and talk I was helping injured wildlife. Into my teens I started volunteering for various animal rescue organizations and doing my own rescue projects with reptiles and amphibians as well as anything I could do if it involved animals and caring for them. I'm currently the co-owner of a family owned and operated pet care service, Heilman's Family Pet Care. I have over 20 years of professional pet care experience. From dog training, dog walking, pet sitting, and working in kennels, veterinary clinics, dog daycare and boarding facilities as well as being active in animal rescue work. I currently work with a 501c3 non profit reptile and amphibian rescue based in South Euclid called The Herps Alive Foundation. I also travel throughout the country doing educational displays and speaking events on reptiles as well as amphibians. I strive to provide the best care possible for my clients and their pets. I have experience with aggressive dogs, all breeds, all sizes. I also have experience with exotic animals such as raccoons, skunks, mini pigs, large parrot species. My passion is caring for animals.
