Hello! I am 31 years old and have 25 years of experience in caring for several species of animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles, dogs, and cats!! I have a cat myself, a 5 year old domestic long hair female, named Artemis, or Emmy for short. I also have a rambunctious 1 year old Australian Shepherd, as well, named Asha'man (Ash for short). For the past eight years, I have been a nanny to families with and without animals. I have worked in barns, volunteered at an animal shelter, helped wildlife rescuers care for the creatures in their care, and have a few years experience working in the veterinary field. I naturally am very nurturing and love providing care for children and animals. I understand your fur-baby is important to you, just as my little Emmy and Ash are my whole world, so I like to treat all animals as if they are my own! I grew up with seven siblings, who each all NOW have pets. Great Pyrenees, Native American Indian dogs, pitbulls, miniature schnauzers, long haired cats, ragdoll cats...the list goes on and on! With all of the experience I gained throughout the years, I feel confident that I can care for your fur-baby! I am beyond excited to have joined the Rover family to help YOU feel comfortable and at ease, knowing your furbabies are in good hands! In short, you should book with me because: ❤ My schedule is very flexible, I'm punctual, and am accommodating ❤ Your furbabies will be treated as if they are my own to put you at ease ❤ Multiple pictures throughout the day ❤ Exceptional references and repeat clients ❤ Work in an animal clinic so my knowledge of care goes further beyond experience For dog walking services, I will keep the dog in your neighborhood or bring to the closest park, whichever you prefer! In the past, I have taken dogs to dog parks, walked them around a neighboring park, and went on gorge runs with them too! (Gorge runs were previously approved by owner.) If you are interested in these services, let me know beforehand! For drop-ins, I prefer owners to let me know ahead of time what needs to be done! Feed, water, take out, brush, clean litter boxes (for cats) etc. What is his/her favorite toy?! Are you still training them?? Do they like belly rubs?! In the past, I would do drop-in visits for family, friends, neighbors, you name it! They trusted me with their pet, as well as being in their home. For overnight care in YOUR home, I prefer to stay in-house, and be provided with my own space to sleep. I also prefer a list of times your pet normally is awake and needs care, and basic care instructions. All of my services have moderate cancellation policies, as my time is just as precious as yours. However, I understand that plans change so each case is unique! I am all about being transparent so please don't hesitate to reach out and ask any questions!
