Pet care experience
I volunteer at Animal Care and Control and have had dogs since I was 7 years old. Currently I have a female small terrier mix and a male large chocolate lab mix. They are both very loving and get along with everyone. I have cared for a variety of pets from a small mouse, rats, snakes, cats, chihuahua, to a neopolitan mastiff. I love dogs and I regularly cared for my sister's and mother's dogs when they were away, sometimes 5 at one time. I encourage positive reinforcement and would rather give a toy in exchange for a sock that they might be trying to chew. I am confident in caring for any dog, big or small. We regularly attend dog parks and they love all dogs they meet.

Rebecca was excellent! She kept me posted on Ernie's status and was very flexible with my pick-up/dropoff requests. Ernie came home nice and tuckered out.
Rebecca and her dogs were very welcoming towards Milo! They instantly got along and began playing the moment we walked in the door. I knew he would have lots of fun there and he came home all tuckered out!

I would need any dog I would be sitting to be comfortable with small and big dogs as I have one of each. I have one female and one male so they should feel comfortable interacting with both. My dogs go to dog parks often and love all dogs unless they show aggression, in which case they get scared and try to run away.
A typical day
Long walks, if they like dog parks or the beach we can do that as well. Do they like fetch? Tug-o-war? My goal is to make my visit feel like a fun adventure.
