I've cared for animals big and small my whole life as a born-and-raised farm girl! I adopted my own pup in 2019, but I've been a dedicated dog walked for almost 10 years now. I started at the humane society where I was able to work with a huge variety of breeds and temperaments, and have had lots of amazing rover clients too! I also recently completed a 3 month training program with my own dog Waffles. He's a 4.5-year-old, 85lb Golden Pyrenees who was a terror to walk and constantly barked at everything. Through the training we learned how to use an e-collar, prong collar, and muzzle. Additionally, we learned commands that help ease his anxiety by giving him "a job" to keep him occupied. I'd be happy to work with your pet to learn or bolster skills including come, sit, watch, place, off, leave it, and heel. I'm not certified, but our trainer (with a dozen years of experience and multiple dog-related businesses all over the east coast) is confident I can work with most any dog after the progress we made with Waffles!
