Rebecca was absolutely fantastic helping me at the last minute when I had travel delays and was stuck out of town when my dog was due to be picked up from his other dog sitter (who wasn’t available to extend). Rebecca picked up my special dog (senior, sight impaired, a bit anxious) from the other sitter, brought him to her lovely large apartment, and treated him like a prince until I finally got home. She is well experienced with all sizes, ages, breeds, and personalities of dogs, as she frequently fosters dogs for NYC rescues. I found Rebecca to be very kind, patient, attentive, and responsible with my dog, which immediately put me at ease. Lucky for me, Rebecca doesn’t currently have a dog of her own (though she has had dogs previously) which is a huge plus four my dog since he’s a rescue and often anxious around other dogs. Rebecca handled my dog’s slight nervousness and limited eyesight like a pro, and he was completely comfortable with her. When I arrived to get my dog, he was contently snoozing on a nest of blankets she had set up for him on her couch, and when he woke up he didn’t want to leave! Another big plus is that Rebecca works at home, so she is able to give your dog constant attention and frequent walks/potty breaks (which is why she was able to help me literally last minute, which I am very grateful). Overall I can’t say enough positive things about my and my dog’s experience with Rebecca. I am thrilled to have found a dog sitter who “gets” my silly, quirky, special little senior dog, and will not hesitate to book her again. Thanks Rebecca!
