Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of pets as long as I can remember. I had both a cat and a dog as a small child. As a teen, I had 2 additional puppies, both of which I took care of and helped potty train. I’ve volunteered at animal shelters with the Honor Society in high school. In high school, I pet sit for neighbors who went out of town for weeks, many of whom still bring their dogs to my home despite me now living an hour away.

Rebecca has been helping us watch our cat for a few years now, but this was the first time we’ve had her do extended visits (as we were gone for a week and a half). She did tremendous! Great updates and we could tell our cat loved the company. Rebecca is fantastic as always!

I care for every pet as though they are my own. Any rules that you have for your baby (i.e not getting on furniture), I will enforce as though they are my own rules. As a vegan, I am morally against physically reprimanding our 4 legged friends. I instead reward good behavior with treats, words of encouragement etc.

A typical day
I love to keep our four legged friends active and engaged during our time together. I enjoy taking them on long walks, playing games, and even just rolling around on the floor together.

Availability
I am a recent Northwestern University graduate currently taking a gap year before grad school. Since I am no longer in school, my hours are extremely flexible. I believe there is no better way to destress than spending quality time with fur babies.
