Pet care experience
As the de facto dog sitter when neighbors and friends are out of town, caring for dogs is one of my most natural skills. From my Great Pyrenees niece, to active English Setter sister, or my elderly Shih-Poo—I have experience across breeds and personalities. After having a 15 year old pup myself, elderly dogs hold a special place in my heart. I am fully comfortable administering medicine, including eye drops and insulin, and am patient with your pup's needs. I am also skilled in controlling hard-to-walk dogs that like to pull. Would love the opportunity to walk or care for your dog!

I have a ten year old, 120lb golden retriever that Rebecca would pet sit for up to a week at a time, and take on almost daily walks while I was at work. He is not great on leash, but is otherwise a great dog. Rebecca handled him very well and even helped make him easier to walk on leash with lots of treats and patience. I highly recommend Rebecca to watch your pets. She is incredibly sweet and her care for animals shows in her work every day.

How I care for your pet will be dependent on their temperament as well as your personal preferences! If you want your pet tired by the time you get home, we will go on a great walk and prioritize play time. However, if your pet just needs love we will make sure pets and cuddles are all around. What matters most to me is ensuring that your pet is safe and doing activities that match their personalities and abilities.

Most important to me is knowing your dog's core behavioral needs as well as their personality type. I want to adapt to their energy levels and ensure that I can take proper precautions for their safety (ex. if Fido is an escape artist). I would love to hear anything and everything that you have to share about them!
A typical day
I always enjoy starting out with a walk to let out some energy before moving into play and hang out time. We will explore favorite green spaces, watch squirrels, and check out new smells. Come play time, fetch is great but I am a tug-of-war expert! Either way, we'll find just the right activity to make your dog as excited as can be.
