Pet care experience
Hello! I'm Becky, a 31 year old animal lover with a decade of experience in pet-sitting, animal rescue, and fostering. I recently relocated to the southern MA/Providence RI area and have tons of flexibility to work with your schedule! I have 2 mixed-breed rescue dogs of my own (Rusty and Winston) and I have worked as a dog/cat sitter, dog walker, foster, transporter, and shelter volunteer. During the past 3 years (while living in Houston, Texas) I rescued and fostered over 50 stray and neglected dogs from the area, working with a network of local rescue organizations to minimize dog neglect and find homes for strays. My most recent foster was a senior bulldog who was rescued from a life locked in a garage for 10 years. He was a "fospice" who lived with me for the remaining 8 months of his life. Animals hold and incredibly special place in my heart and I get so much joy from each new dog or cat that I meet. I would love the opportunity to care for your pet and give you peace of mind that they are in experienced, responsible, and loving hands. I hope to hear from you and your pet soon!

Rebecca was awesome! She watched over my two kitties while i went on a six day vacation. From the beginning, she was understanding that one of my babies, Thorin, is extremely skittish and does not like or trust people much. During her drop in visits, she did an excellent job making herself seem unthreatening. She got him to come out! She gave me updates after every visit and sent lots of pictures. Overall, I am thrilled with how she did and will be asking her first if I have to go on any more trips.
Becky was wonderful! She asked all the right questions and made sure she understood just what needed to be done and where everything was. She only sat for us for about 24 hours since we were just going on an overnight trip but I got an opportunity to see that she is truly a professional. I forgot to explain to her which pills each of my doggies take and are all together in a weekly pill organizer by day. They take them every morning. She texted me the night before to ask exactly how they should be given. She was clearly preparing for giving them to them the following morning. It was refreshing to not have to worry. She also texted me a ton of photos while she was taking care of them. I know she truly took good care of my fur babies. Also Mocha is usually skittish around new visitors to our house. When Becky came to meet with me before coming to stay, Mocha immediately greeted her in the foyer and didn’t run the opposite direction. This was a first!
Tex loved his time with Rebecca and her tribe. He tends to be anxious but he fit right in. And at one point when he seemed lonely, Rebecca abandoned her laundry chores to snuggle with him instead.

I love all breeds! The only thing I would like to know ahead of time is whether there is any history of or potential for aggression towards other dogs.
A typical day
- Lots of walking and swimming at dog parks, trails, and beaches! - Accompany me to PetSmart and Petco when we need more food or other dog supplies. - Special dog events in the area such as ice-cream socials, outdoor play, etc. - And of course there will be plenty of cuddles and playing around the house.
