Pet care experience
I've been a dog lover my whole life. I grew up with 5 different dogs over the years, ranging from a Jack Russel Terrier to a Border Collie, to a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. So, im comfortable with all sorts of dogs and have always enjoyed caring for and playing with them. I currently dont have a dog of my own because of the rules in my building, so being able to go out and play and interact with other people's pets who are in need is mutually beneficial. I'm available on week days to give your dog a great walk so they are happy and exercised. I live in the heart of Kitsilano, and would love the opportunity to take your dog out and about around this great neighborhood. My extensive experience having my own dogs has made me very comfortable and welcoming to dogs of all kinds. I hope to provide a great experience for you and your dog that suits your needs.

Rebecca helped us out in a pinch when we were away in Europe and our current sitters had to leave early. She dropped by our home twice in the same day to relieve our and our pups’ stress while we were traveling back home. Grateful for her photos and ability to help us out under stressful circumstances.
Becky is a kind, caring, and responsible animal-lover. She's helped walk and care for my senior lab many times throughout the years and Meisje absolutely adores her!! Becky is friendly, polite, and easy to talk to. She is compassionate, attentive, and patient; she can cater to any animals specific wants or needs.
Rebecca would be a great dog walker/sitter, she has had at least one dog for most of her life. She has dog sat for me many times and is fantastic. If you are looking for someone who is going to treat your dog great then you have found the right person!

I think the best things to know about your pooch before we go on a walk are what they love about walks; is it to get a really great workout in and make sure they're pooped by the end, or is it more about getting out in the fresh air and being stimulated by the sights, sounds, and smells. I'd love to know if they have any triggers when out and about. Will they see a cat and want to dart after them, how are they when they cross the street, are they okay with passing other dogs on the sidewalk, or small kids, or whatever the case may be? Most things are easily worked around as long as we're all on the same page.
A typical day
I live and work from home in Kitsilano and love walking through the neighborhood, especially with dogs. We can go to the park or beach and play some off leash fetch or we can stay on leash, cruising through the neighborhood taking in all fun new smells along the way while still getting great exercise.
