Hello! I live and work in Eureka. I think this is the perfect way for me to spend time with dogs without the financial costs of having my own dog. I have lots of experience taking care of dogs and cats. I had my first job when I was 10 years old walking my neighbor’s senior dog. I’ve house/dog sat for family friends over the years, including: -2 golden retrievers and 3 cats in the Santa Cruz mountains -a cute small terrier who took anti-anxiety meds in the East Bay -a sweet black lab with special dietary requirements who wore a muzzle on our walks on the Peninsula I’m also a second mom to my mom’s dog when I’m visiting my mom. We got her when she was a puppy, so I have experience with puppies as well. I always had a cat growing up, too so I am very comfortable taking care of cats as well while house sitting and for drop-in visits. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

Rebecca did great job taking care of our 3 house cats and 4 ‘mostly feral’ cats. She was prompt, neat and compassionate. We would highly recommend her and plan on using her services in the future.
Rebecca did an amazing job with the dogs! She was timely, sent photos, took great care of our home and even watered plants we forgot about last minute. We would highly recommend her and would definitely use her again the future.
Rebecca is the best! She treats our dog, Oliver like he is her own and gives him her full attention and lots of love. I am always completely comfortable when she is with our doggie. In addition she is a super-warm and loving person. You couldn’t ask for more!

I follow directions very well! Written directions are so helpful for any special requests for your pet. Some people have very specific feeding requirements with broth, supplements, medicine etc and some just give a cup of kibble twice a day. I just need to know the norm and I will follow it.
A typical day
I like playing fetch and tug-of-war with dogs. When house sitting, I will take your dog on walks around your neighborhood or other places you request. I walk my mom’s dog at Headwaters and the Hikshari Trail.

Availability
I work an 8-5 office job in Eureka, and I have an hour lunch. When house sitting I will let your dog out in the morning, come by at lunch, and come back after work, walk your dog if you want, and spend the night. This means that I can only house sit in areas within 20 min of Eureka if you want your dog to go outside mid-day.
