Pet care experience
We live on Mackinac Island. I have an Australian Shepard named Dodger. He is so smart and loves to play with other dogs. He's been professionally trained and is currently a volunteer Avian Control Canine in Marquette Park on Mackinac Island. I've lived on Mackinac Island for 12 years and know all the great walking trails to walk your dog!

So glad I found Rebecca on Mackinaw Island for a day of doggy daycare for my 7-year old Golden Retriever, Daisy! Rebecca was very responsive to our communications especially with the last minute details of finding the “drop point” to hand Daisy off to Rebecca for the day. She was also very accommodating caring for Daisy for 12 hours and feeding her due to our late night Sip ‘n Sail cruise and then graciously walking her to my hotel to return her! Great service and peace of mind leaving Daisy with her for the day. I know Daisy had a great time and loved Dodger too from the nice pics she shared with me throughout the day. I’m new at traveling with Daisy now that I have an RV and more hotels are becoming “pet friendly”. It was great to bring Daisy along to Mackinaw island to also experience the people, the ferry, and the horse and carriages she rode in. It is very good experience for Daisy as she is a bit skittish about “new” things. Thank you so much Rebecca and I will definitely look you up when I return to Mackinaw Island. My dog doesn’t warm up to people very fast but after three nights with Rebecca he cried when she left!
Our dog Nana had a great time with Rebecca and her dog Dodger.

They will be kept inside our home. We do not have a fenced in yard. They are welcome on any of our furniture. They must get along with other dogs as they will be in the same vicinity as my Australian Shepard.

Please bring toys, food, treats, blankets, etc to ensure your dog feels like home. I want them to find a happy and safe home with us.
A typical day
I like walking dogs to the cemeteries and on the many trails around our home which is just behind Fort Mackinac. I can play ball or Frisbee with your dog depending on what they like.
