I love animals more than anything! I have had furry and feathered pets for my whole life and went to school to be a veterinarian. I studied English Literature, toured the world as a musician, worked as a Veterinary Technician, and now own my own pet care business called LouPETville with my partner Cory! I have been petsitting regularly for the last 15 years, the last 8 with my partner. We specialize in geriatric and mobility care and pets with medical needs. I registered LouPETville with the state of Kentucky in August of 2018 and, in the last year, we have grown to a staff of five who are all on their way to becoming Fear Free Veterinary Certified! LouPETville sitters and walkers are certified in Pet CPR and First Aid and are fully trained as employees, not independent contractors. We are active in the community and passionate about our local pet non-profits. I have worked with a mobile hospice veterinarian, in an emergency animal hospital, exclusive feline veterinary practice, and small general practice clinics. I left the veterinary clinic to finish my degree in Comparative Humanities and start working full-time as a pet sitter and dog walker for my business LouPETville. My partner had been with my every step of the way and is equally knowledgeable about medical care for pets. In addition to basic dog walking and pet sitting, we administer medications orally, topically, transdermally, and subcutaneously. We are also able to clean ears, express anal glands, express bladders, trim nails, and clean and bandage wounds.
