Hello! My name is Rebecca. I’ve had experience taking care of animals from a young age, from my own pets to pets of neighbors, friends, and family. We have 3 senior Labradors at home, and we spent 17 years with our wonderful cat Sammie. Pets I’ve cared for over the years include dogs, cats, ferrets, hedgehogs, fish, crabs, and parakeets. For dogs specifically—I have worked with dogs of all ages and all sizes. I am also completely comfortable giving special accommodations to dogs who have medical needs. I love meeting new dogs and learning about each one’s unique personality, so I go into every stay with an open mind. My goal when caring for any animal is to make their life on Earth as fun and enjoyable as possible, because while our pets are only here for a part of our lives, we’re practically their entire life. It’s our responsibility to care for them and provide enjoyment for them, and I will be more than happy to provide fun, in addition to basic care, when their owners aren’t around. I’m typically available every day in the summer, the only exceptions will be noted on my calendar. Late August-early May, I’m usually unavailable on weekdays because I’m a student.
