I came into the situation with Rebecca's two dogs, Kai and Phon, after she had owned them for a while. I now consider them my dogs, too, but initially was skeptical whether they would let me in. These are two dogs that have had tough backgrounds and they still struggle with newcomers, but Becca was so clearly good with them (obviously had their trust, stayed patient and protective but pushed them to engage with me) and they pretty quickly came around. She's constantly working to help them progress and ensures that, at home, they always feel safe and confident and loved; in public, when there's a challenge, she's consistent with training and makes sure other people and their dogs feel comfortable. I don't know how else to say that, if I still had a dog of my own (mine passed a while back), I would trust her with Jenny 100%; even with the hurdles of abused rescue dogs, she's wonderful. A true animal lover, through and through, and someone always genuinely open to making pups and their loving owners feel safe and cared for. Highly recommend!
