It is our pleasure to welcome your beloved pets into our home! Both my husband and I work from our home office, so we especially enjoy the company our pets (and yours) provide us each day. We were both born into a house with a resident dog, and I have never been without at least one dog in my family home. Together, we have raised 7 dogs, 16 cats (most from rescue), fostered 12 feral kittens, several birds and 4 abandoned bunnies. Caring for animals has always been a priority in our lives. At the present time, we share our home with 2 Golden Retrievers, several cats, and a small backyard flock of chickens. We live in a cul-de-sac, in the original El Toro tract of Lake Forest. Thus, our lot size is one of the largest in the city. Our once tiny house has grown over the years through many remodeling projects, and now boasts lots of indoor space to accommodate our doggy guests (and any special needs they may have), and plenty of outside areas for fresh air and exercise. We do have a swimming pool, which can be available for supervised swimming. It can be especially useful for providing gentle (attended) exercise for arthritic Senior dogs. We also have the means to keep the pool off-limits to curious, unsupervised swimmers! We live in a great area for walks, close to 2 parks and a duck pond. We love to pack the dogs up and travel the short trip to Huntington Dog Beach, whenever possible. The service we provide is tailored to your dog's individual needs. Some dogs are happy with 1 or 2 walks a day, some may require 3. A Senior dog may not enjoy a vigorous walk, but may rather enjoy a short run in the garden. We have a large bedroom, which we happily share, but we also have several private rooms available. If access to a doggy door is required at night, we can provide that, as well. Crate-trained puppies are welcome!
