Animal loving couple. Long time dog owners who now sit for friends' pets and pooches. We live near the beach. Pooches will get so much attention & multiple walks a day. Experienced sitting for diabetic pup who is also mostly blind as well as puppies and older, large dogs. All sizes are the same - they need care and attention and love!:) We can discuss Drop-Off and Pick-Up times beforehand. ****Early drop-off is fine! ****Late pick-up is also fine! But please note:- Rover calculates rates on a 24 hour period i.e. an overnight stay. (Drop-off at 8am - stay overnight - Pick-up at 8am...) Care and love, feeding and walking is most active during the day, so if Pick-Up is 4 or more hours beyond the last 24 hour period (& using the e.g. above, pick-up is at 12pm..), a Half Day rate (currently $20) will need to be added. Think of it like your last Hotel stay - only better! since they don't let you Check-Out late without charging you an extra day. We'll consider it lee-way if less than 4 hours - fair? About this sitter: I can stay with your pet in his/her own home. No need to disrupt their usual routine. They can sleep in their own bed (or wherever they like to sleep!) I will happily adapt to your pets own routines and environment. It's so much easier for you too. No need to pack everything up & transport to another home. I have experience with dealing doggie medications - I know the importance of keeping to their schedule. I am reliable, honest and will be in touch with you every step of the way, or available to check-in at your convenience. My life has been full of dogs since childhood. We recently lost our beloved Ophelia to old age after 14 years. We had her since she was a 6 week old puppy. I nursed her through some health issues along the way. We've sat dogs of all shapes and sizes, and needs and abilities. Every dog is different...like people:) Why I love dog sitting For as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs always in my life. I remember every one as a member of the family. My heart still pines for the ones who've gone... Meet my pets No other pets right now. About my yard No backyard. A pool area though I plan on walking the dogs (who want to walk) at least 3 times and maybe 4 times a day. My experience administering medication Yes.
