I love dogs! I used to have a super loving Mini Sharpei (6 1/2 yo) that my boyfriend and I rescued at 4 months and raised. But after a 5 year relationship ending, I was not able to keep Luigi; he was my ex's. I would like to fill my time with helping out people and their dogs. I haven't met a one I didn't love like my own. Let me know what commands you've been working on and I can reinforce and help continue any new things you want your dog to learn to continue the process. I'm not the type of person who looks at their phone while walking a dog (no offense to anyone who does) I am extremely attentive, I like to see who's coming our way whether it's another dog, kids running, skateboarders, making sure nothing is being eaten off the ground, their behavior. I will give you a detailed description of our time together. I have also taken care of my best friend's 5 year old pit bull rescue who is very rambunctious. I may find things on your dog or about your dog that you haven't seen yet. Being that Luigi was a sharpei with many health problems, I have an eagle eye seeing if there were ever skin rashes underneath the fur, irritation, if the back legs were stiff, I always check paws after a walk (we would always wipe Luigi's) I can brush teeth, clean ears, give baths. Luigi needed constant medicated baths, ears cleaned because his ears flopped down and would get yeast infections, and brushed his teeth because sharpei gums are so dark you cannot tell when they start to have any sort of disease etc. So needless to say I was on top of that nearly every night. I've dealt with him throwing up, having diarrhea, an infected eye, sharpei fever, he's been attacked several times... so I am just so used to watching every move. I love to play games, my apt is large enough esp for winter to play fetch, toss, chase. I love walking towards east side river walkways and going for jogs with them, exploring together.
