I have taken care of all kinds of animals! Everything from cats, and dogs to farm animals such as horses, pigs, chickens and goats. I absolutely love animals and am comfortable around large or small ones! I have a very calm, nurturing energy which makes it easy for me to care for all animals. I have taken care of animals that were previously abused and as a result very nervous around new people, but am able to build their trust and care for them. I have no problem helping out if the pet has medical needs such as bandage changes or giving it medications. I have experience walking and house/dog sitting a boxer and a mixed small dog, which I have provided to the same family for 4 years now. Mainly assisting them when they are out of town. I have taken care of my roommates German Shepard and chocolate lab while they’ve been away for vacation. And in the past have taken care of my friends two small pups multiple times. I have also cared for many other dog breeds doing dog sitting or dog walking- everything from a dachshund to a Doberman, German Shepards, Huskys, boxers, and Great Danes. I am also comfortable with pit bulls and essentially all dog breeds. I know that any breed can be a sweet and loving dog. My family currently has a husky, and we love going on hikes with her and taking her on trips with us to the snowy mountains. My family also has chickens and a cat, and I have a cat myself. I love all dogs and have shared a home with everything from a dachshund to a Great Dane. I’m very comfortable with all breeds including pitbulls, boxers, Great Danes, German Shepard’s, as well as the smaller variety like Maltese, miniature Pinscher and all the other ones in between. I know that what actually matters and determines behavior is how the animal has been cared for and trained, and I’m excited to be able to continue to provide a loving environment for your animals while you’re away, or busy during the day. Growing up, I’d always do whatever I could to go to the ranch with my friend so I could ride the horses. I also did 4H and raised a pig. And as an adult, I volunteered at a horse ranch that rescued horses and other animals, which gave me a lot of experience riding and caring for horses, as well as the other random animals that needed a home - such as snakes, birds, llamas and more. So needless to say, I’m comfortable around all animals and love spending time with them! They are endlessly entertaining, loving and adorable.
