Pet care experience
Going on vacation? Work long hours? Not to worry! I am Rebecca, a local Midland pet care provider. I offer services from drop ins all the way to boarding. Similar to most, my love for animals started from a very young age. I grew up in a household with both smaller breeds and larger breeds of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and other small critters! Once I was old enough to start working, I got my first professional pet care position as a doggie daycare attendant. While working there, I learned about dog body language and temperament, administering medication, following a feeding schedule, and monitoring safe play. Along with my attendant position, I also offered dog walking and pet sitting services.
Reviews
My Dad's 2 Aussie's stayed with Rebecca for a week she was great. Sent us updates and concerns promptly and went the extra mile to comfort them. Highly recommend her she's a great soul.
Great, responsive, and dependable. I went out of town for a week on vacation and Rebecca was available to help us out by looking out for my big guy while gone. Will be having her watch him in the future as well. 10/10 service!
Rebecca will love your pet family like your own! She is fantastic with the care of my pups and kitty... Attending to each medical need diligently and playing with them as you ask. She follows up each visit with a report and pics, if requested. You won't be disappointed in hiring Rebecca!
I boarded my 5 month old Akita/husky, Cloudy, with Rebecca. She was absolutely amazing! She allowed us to come for a pre-boarding visit to check things out, and was very gracious to both of us. She has a wonderful area for dogs both inside and outside (fenced in yard). She gave me frequent updates on his progress during my trip. I honestly could not have asked for a better care-giver. I told her that Cloudy seems like a BETTER dog after staying with her!

Safety, trust & environment
I offer cage/kennel free boarding (unless a cage is preferred by client). This means your pet/s would have full access to my entire living space, which is a spacious basement with two big beds and a sofa for lounging around and sleeping, and plenty of toys! I also have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to handle the zoomies (must stay off pool cover OR be leashed and walked for 20 minutes each “outing”, pool opens in April/May). I do have one dog and one cat in the house, but they’re upstairs separated by a gate in the hall and a door at the top of the basement stairs.

Information Rebecca B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has: food aggression, door aggression, leash aggression, gender/child aggression, traumatic past or is a rescue. It is also very helpful to know their chewing habits (none, moderate, aggressive), if they have any anxiety/separation anxiety, and their outside/potty habits!
A typical day
Our typical day would of course start with the same wonderful breakfast they’d have at home, followed by plenty of outside time and plenty of play time! I have multiple balls and ropes, as well as a few tire-biter toys for those aggressive chewers! I also have Milkbones (hard) and Canine Carryouts (soft) that I break to work on basic trainings such as sit, lay down, stay and come! I also have the ability to offer certain add-ons such as a walk around the neighborhood as often as you’d like ($15/walk, 30 minutes) or a Large Kong filled with Peanut Butter ($2/each, such a sweet treat while you’re away!)

Availability
I am currently home full time, aside from the occasional trip to the grocery store or appointment. I do have one child who is in preschool full time, and I will have to be available to take him to and from school (25 minutes there and back!).
