Love all dogs!
Pet care experience
I fostered dogs and cats and provided petsitting for 10+ years before adopting dogs of my own and have since been working in wildlife for the past 5 years. I am currently between seasonal jobs and available for dog walking and drop-in services. Unfortunately, one of my own dogs is not friendly with other dogs so I cannot offer boarding or petsitting at this time. I previously worked in animal sheltering for over 3 years, including at the Humane Society of Western Montana in Missoula, and I am comfortable and experienced working with reactivity and other behavioral issues.

We hired Rebecca to stay at our house with our two cats for a long weekend. I was concerned about finding someone who would spend time playing with and petting the cats and who would be willing to work around the complications of keeping the cats completely separate (one keeps attacking the other). I couldn't be happier about her services! She promptly responded to my initial inquiry and scheduled a time to come meet me and the cats, and get oriented to the house and routine. I could sense right away that she has a way with animals -- my older, quite shy cat came up and sniffed her, and that is unusual. Her arrival time was to be 24 hours after our departure and she texted me to let me know she had arrived and that everything and everybody was doing fine. She even sent a few photos of the cats engaging with her. Upon our return, the house was neat and tidy, the mail was on the table, and the cats were doing well. Rebecca is friendly, professional, responsible, and sensitive to animals. I give her my highest recommendation!
I was super nervous of leaving Leo for 10 days, but Rebecca really put my fears at ease. She knew how to handle our rambunctious puppy and made sure he got plenty of exercise. We loved seeing all the photos throughout his visit and she went the extra mile to drop him off at our house when our return plans got delayed. Thanks Rebecca!
