Had my own fur babies during my lifetime. Border Collie(stray) and Terrier(since a pup) when I was younger. They stayed outside since we had a huge back yard. Except the time when my Terrier, Ginger, had her babies then was brought indoors. Chihuahua when I moved to Condo, born August 1996 and passed October 2012. Chico would sleep by the foot of my bed, by morning Chico had his head on the pillow next to me. Had my son's Mini Pincher(Dexter) staying over weekends. These dogs were more than just pets, they were my babies. Took care of next door neighbors dogs while he was on business trips. Fed, played & walked the babies I had taken care of. I live in a condo, reason I prefer small animals. Would be a punishment to larger fur babies in such a limited space and no back yard.
