Pet care experience
I have extensive professional experience in the animal husbandry world. From this training, I have developed a high standard of care, one which I follow for my own personal animals. I guarantee this same level of care for my Rover clients. I grew up in Colorado, where hiking with the family dogs was the norm. Personable, conscientious, and passionate, I am often asked by friends and family to pet sit, and do so regularly. I am comfortable handling a wide range of animals, to include dogs, and have experience in enrichment, training, and medical treatment. Additionally, I am an effective communicator and will relay all pertinent information regarding your animal's care. I look forward to getting to know both you and your dog(s)! - Rebecca
Reviews
Rebecca is an amazing pet sitter and took great care of my two dogs, Cheyanne and Jackson. Always available when I needed her and could handle any issues from my problem fur child Jackson. Her communication was top notch and the dogs adored her.
I worked closely with Rebecca for nearly a year monitoring and studying an endangered bird species, and was therefore witness daily to her dedication to animals, her attention to details of behavior and physical condition, her willingness to get her hands dirty and do whatever needed to be done to keep her charges safe and healthy - all of which she did with a positive attitude and a smile on her face. A significant aspect of the job was providing medical care for those birds, a responsibility not granted lightly, and one which Rebecca performed skillfully. But if being entrusted to the care and keeping of a critically endangered species isn't testament enough to Rebecca’s dependability and devotion to animals' wellbeing, let me speak to her beautiful relationship with my dog and with our coworkers' dogs. All of our work crew lives on site together, and several of us have dogs: Rebecca was the doting aunt to all of them, always ready with a treat (or five) in her pocket and a whole lot of love to bestow on her furry nieces and nephews. My own dog in particular has anxiety about most people and is slow to trust strangers - and then, only very selectively - but from the moment she met Rebecca, they were instant best friends. I trusted Rebecca to watch my dog, to take her along with her to work, to check on and feed her if I was going to be home late. There’s no one I would rather have puppy-sit my dog, and the fact that Rebecca is now hundreds of miles away is the only deterrent to us utilizing her services. But our loss – of an excellent coworker, friend, and dog aunt – is Salt Lake City’s gain; all of Rebecca’s future Rover clients are lucky to have her kind, enthusiastic, patient brand of care at their fingertips, and can trust that with Rebecca, their dogs are in good hands.

We have so many nice venues at our fingertips in SLC, but one of my personal favorite areas to walk is Liberty Park! However, I am also up for some adventure and have no problem accommodating a route that you and yours regularly travel!
