Experienced pet lover for hire!
Pet care experience
Although I am new to the world of web-based pet sitting, my experience and love for animals traces back to my childhood. My first dog was a rescue named Buck; a husky and lab mix that my parents adopted from a local shelter when I was 6 years old. He sparked a deep love in me for animals of all kinds, but especially dogs and cats! I currently have two adorable cats who live with me and a dog who lives with my parents. I have been pet sitting on and off since I started driving at 16, mainly for family and close friends. Since I moved to Greensboro in 2012 I've continued the trend mainly as a part of babysitting and nannying contracts. For the last 3 years I have worked for a Greensboro, NC non-profit "People & Paws 4 Hope", which pairs local youth offenders in the Juvenile Justice system with shelter dogs in need of training, alongside a licensed dog trainer and myself, for the benefit of both parties. I am now ready to expand my reach and interact with animals on a much more regular basis, all with the help of Rover.com. I feel comfortable and have experience with dogs of all ages (newborn to 15+ years), all sizes (5-150lbs), and most breeds, including some that are more rare or require special diets/routines. On top of dog services I have experience with many exotic animals such as lizards, snakes, turtles, and insects, as well as more common house pets such as rabbits, ferrets, cats, fish (fresh and saltwater) and birds. Thank you for considering me for your pet sitting needs; I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends!
Reviews
Rebecca Beasley came to work for organization in May of 2017 as a dog training assistant. In November 2017 she moved to the Program Director position. In the following months, she also successfully assumed the role of Coordinator of Education and took on our Social Media and Marketing responsibilities. Rebecca is very capable, dependable, intelligent, precise and very organized. She was/is respected by our referral agencies, court counselors, state and local Juvenile Justice representatives and our staff. . She works well with staff, juvenile participants, their families, shelter dogs and cares deeply about the outcome for all. Rebecca has a genuine love for animals, knowledgeable about their handling and care, and provides the support the animals need. We were sorry to lose Rebecca, would certainly rehire her and feel that she has a lot to offer your company and clients. If I can be of further help please contact me.
Any dog that get Rebecca to take them for a walk is a lucky dog. Rebecca worked with me as my assistant for training dogs . She did an awesome job. She is very detailed person and does an excellent job of knowing what is needed. Not only will the dog be happy but the owner will be too.

Information Rebecca B. would like to know about your pet
All I need to know is your preferences, any special needs or dietary restrictions, medicine that should be administered, training that is being done for me to reinforce, or bad behavior to watch out for. I have no restrictions on size, breed, age, or specialty.
A typical day
I am a student with a fair amount of energy who is looking for help engaging in a better regimen of personal fitness. Unfortunately, my apartment complex does not allows dogs which means no walking buddies, so I will "play" an active roll in your dogs outdoor adventures as well as indoor activities. I only utilize positive reinforcement that is backed up by lots of petting, sweet baby voices, and cuddling. If you are an owner who uses negative reinforcement for training, I may not be the perfect sitter/walker for you. I am experienced working with crate trained animals as well as those who have free roam of indoor/outdoor facilities. By combining your established pet care routine with my tender love and care, attention to detail, and prior knowledge of attending to animals, I promise that your furry (or less than furry) friend will never feel more at home.
