I don't call myself a pet owner, I call myself a "pet mom". I have personally cared for my own as well as others' dogs, cats, fish, small animals, and reptiles over the years, and I understand the importance of treating animals as family members (because they are!). Peace of mind is important when you can't be physically present. I can provide exercise, feeding, attention, and medication (oral or topical). I will also help maintain any routine and basic training that you have in place. I strive to provide peace of mind through excellent care and open communication. My professional background involves working with people, so I get a lot of practice in communicating honestly and effectively. I am a social worker and teach around the world during the school year. During the summers, my schedule is mostly open and flexible, and I hope to fill it spending time with animals. Once I stop traveling for work, I eventually hope to foster rescue animals or possibly open a rescue. Long story short: I'm passionate about animals.
