Pet care experience
I am dog mom to the late Henry, a mini schnauzer who brightened my life for 12 years. He had dietary restrictions and physical limitations so I have lots of experience caring for special needs. My GrandDogs are a Maltese and a Papillon mix, and I’ve cared for them for long and short stays. I’ve done dog sitting for Australian shepherds, shelties, labs, Bichons, and cockers.

Rebecca took excellent care of our three dogs while we were gone for nine days. She followed our detailed instructions for supplements, medications, feeding, and overall care. She left our house in great shape. We received regular updates and pictures of our dogs, which we loved, since we missed them while we were away. When we returned home, our dogs didn't even seem to miss us, which was great! We highly recommend Rebecca and will use her services again.
Rebecca took care of our Dante while my husband and I were on a cruise for 10 days. She did a fabulous job and we came home to a healthy happy puppy. We are so grateful to her and have complete confidence in her capabilities as our dog is a puppy and very rambunctious.

Your pup’s safety is my first priority. I believe firmly in positive reinforcement, soft voices, and gentle hands always. I never want to rush a pup when it only takes a few extra minutes to earn their trust and lower their anxiety.

I have experience taking care of special needs and elderly dogs. Allergies, illness, special diets, & medications are no problem. It's helpful to have your vet's contact info and a phone number of an emergency contact in case you cannot be reached.
A typical day
Frequent leashed walks make for happy dogs and a happy dog-sitter. I love to hike, so let me know if your pup enjoys long or short distances. Scared of thunder? Hates the garbage truck? Steals socks? Prefers Mozart to Chopin? Just let me know, and I will make sure your pup is comfortable. For house sitting, I prefer to stay in the home for overnights, keeping your pups on their regular routine as much as possible. A written list of instructions is absolutely priceless. I don't drink or smoke, and I bring my own food. Some clients have been kind enough to provide coffee, which is always appreciated.

I work from home, never apart from your dog. As a digital nomad, I can do an overnight and spend the whole next day playing with your pup.
