Pet care experience
I’ve been housesitting since I was 16 years old in high school. Now I’m a 23 year old Davis graduate who is still eager to help out with furry family’s in the community. I work with cats which has allowed me to learn how to administer eye medications and how to deliver fluids subcutaneously. I also have experience with oral medication for both dogs and cats. I am pften a busy person, so for me the most important aspect of working together is communication and honestly. If I feel like I can’t provide the services you are looking for, I will let you know quickly and truthfully. I know how scary it is to leave behind your pets and I want all of my clients to know I have their best interest in mind when booking.

Rebecca was a great dog sitter for our puppy. He was so happy all weekend and she sent us consistent updates and photos. She stayed at our home and left it cleaner than when we left. We would definitely hire her again.

Becca was great! She was conscientious and thoughtful and clearly cared about our animals. We were really impressed with her. She sent pictures and video, and when an issue came up with our dog and he demonstrated some anxiety, she let us know right away and proactively took steps beyond what we expected to make him as comfortable as possible, spending more time with him than planned and finding ways to make her daily tasks enriching for him. She also left our house in great shape, again going above what we asked of her. This was our first Rover experience and we will definitely ask Becca back!
Rebecca has to be our favorite pet-sitter ever! She has watched our fur-babies many times and we are always confident they will be loved as much by her as we love them. She spends time with them and is very attentive towards their needs. We would never hesitate to have her watch any pet we have as she is an extremely responsible young lady. We only wish she still lived near us! ?

I have a fenced in yard and two cats that generally stay out of the way when a new friend is around. I live with two other people that are also very welcoming and friendly with new animals. We have plenty of toys, food bowls, and places to explore!

Information Rebecca A. would like to know about your pet
It is easier for me to take care of smaller dogs. I would like to know if there’s any behavioral abnormalities I should be aware of. I would like to know if the dog is potty and crate trained as well as whether or not it can use a peepad in between walks. As for cats, I just want to know that they will do okay with another cat in the house without becoming violent or territorial, that they don’t scratch, and that they’re faithful to their litter box.
A typical day
I will take any dogs on walks and will probably have to fight with my housemates over who gets to play with them! Kitties get to enjoy blankets, catnip, and toys galore. There will still probably be an attention fight amongst my roommates, but the animal will always showered in love.

Availability
I am currently working part time and will also be changing jobs in September. My schedule at my current job is rather flexible, though it does mean that on days that I work I can be gone for 3-6 hours. If a booking is far enough in advance, I can arrange to take some longer shifts off for the duration of the stay. I also have two young cats at home that I need to spend a couple hours with each day, which I can do when grabbing supplies for the next day if I’m housesitting.
