I've assisted with dog rescue for approximately 15 years, which provided me with a good knowledge base for handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I have fostered several hundred dogs and cats, as well as participated in non-profit rescue activities and fundraisers. I have participated in PTSD dog training, as well as standard dog training. Communication between the owner and myself is key. Not only will you receive updates about your pet, but you'll know that your pet is getting quality care. When sitting in your home, I go to great lengths to make sure your fur family is treated to the love and care they are accustomed to. I do a meet and greet before every job. I want you to know that we’ve addressed your pets needs and care routine, as well as have the knowledge that I’m an honest reliable and responsible adult. Stays in my home: My home is clean, calm, and full of happiness for our guests who are treated as family. Dogs in our care are taken on walks, going for rides. and given plenty of love and attention. We have 1 dog who is friendly, playful, and well trained. Depending on your dog, they can sleep in our room with us; crated, or on the couch or floor. We try to replicate their normal activities as much as possible so they have less anxiety or stress while they're away from home. We ask that you bring the dog food that you use for your pets stay. That way they continue with the type and brand their tummy is use to with no tummy upset. I hold several animal care certificates, including dog first aid and handling play groups. Additionally, I continue to attend expand my knowledge and experience by attending training, seminars, and meetings. I can provide medication (pills, injections, creams). We can also pick up or drop off dogs for an additional fee. We strive to make this a safe environment for your pet and ours. Therefore dog traits that would not be a fit for our environment: Obsessive barking; aggression or posturing for pack dominance; high energy along with lack of training; escape artists.
