I have had 3 dogs (shih tzu’s) of my own for 10 years now. Anyone who knows me would tell you just how spoiled my dogs are as well as the many dogs I have watched for friends and family. I am always coming up with engaging activities for the dogs such as treat hunts, walks, fetch, playing in the kiddie pool, or simply relaxing - whatever your dog is into! I also foster for the Humane Society on occasion as well as help them with walks for the dogs at the shelter. My life basically revolves around making dogs lives exciting and enjoyable!

Reann is such a great dog mom! She loves all dogs and treats them like family. She’s very active with the dogs, playing with them and taking them for walks. I would never hesitate to leave my Greta with her, I know she’ll be well taken care of and lived while I’m gone!

Reann is the biggest dog lover I know! She is so kind to any dog and will treat them as if they are her own. She is patient, playful, and loving. She always takes the best care of my big baby Murray. I would recommend her to anyone looking for the best care for their own fur baby!

I have a fenced in yard with lots of room to run. I also have 3 small Shih Tzus who are friendly to keep your dog company and play with. I can crate your dog if needed also (you may have to supply the crate as I only have a small one) but I also have my kitchen and dinning room gated which is where my dogs spend their time when I am gone, so there is plenty of toys, dog beds, food, water, and space to relax, but while I am home they can spend time in any area of the house they feel comfortable as my house is very dog proofed/dog friendly. I also have a camera that I can check in on my phone anytime I’m gone and your dog is at my home without me, so I can be sure they are resting comfortably.

Let me know if your dog has an special needs or needs medications given or a special timed out diet as I typically just have a bowl of dry dog food down at all times (I can put it up if they cannot have the food or if they will simply eat the whole bowl because it is down). I need to know how your dog is with other small dogs as I have 3 Shih tzus of my own, so a meet and greet would be great!
A typical day
I love coming up with fun different ideas for the dogs to do such as treat hunts, swimming in a kiddie pool or playing in the hose water in the summer, going to Three Dog Bakery or making our own dog treats, taking walks around my neighborhood or one of the Metroparks, and more!

Availability
I work three 12 hour shifts in a row each week (either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Wednesday, Thursday, Friday). I have the flexibility to work shorter shifts if needed or to run home and potty the dogs if needed also. Every other week I have 6 days off in a row, so that makes those weeks ideal for watching your pup, but I also have every weekend off as well.
