Experienced Dog Walker!
Pet care experience
I’m currently a dental student at the University of Colorado’s School of Dental Medicine and am looking to dog sit in my free time. I have experience with both large and small breeds as well as experience with puppies. Specifically, I grew up with an Australian cattle dog, a German Shepard mix, and two cavalier spaniels. For me, my dogs are my family and I always want to provide the same care I give to my dogs to your pets. I’m a firm believer in positive reinforcement because it teaches pets good habits while keeping them free of anxiety. I’d love to meet your furry family member and take care of them while you’re away. I look forward to taking care of your pets and giving them the love and exercise they deserve.

Whenever I am caring for a pet in a clients home, I ask that the client leave a list detailing the pet’s daily routine so I can best keep it going. I find that structure and routine for pets helps reduce their anxiety and make sittings more fun.

If they have any of the following habits - jumping on people, pawing/scratching people, damaging furniture, peeing on furniture or carpet, being reactive towards other dogs, having any allergies, and having any specific triggers or displaying resource guarding.
A typical day
For dogs I’m sitting, we’ll usually take both a morning 30 min walk and an evening 30 min walk with potty breaks in between. I love being outside so if you have a yard I’m more than happy to also play fetch with your pet daily.
