When we set up sitting for our three dogs, we had said 4 to 5 hours was good for them to be left alone, after we had left on vacation our cameras constantly went off and our animals were left home alone for at least 10 hours a day. Sometimes it was 12 and 13 hours. our dogs got very anxious and destroyed a chair cushion, and we could tell was not fed enough because of the amount of food that was left. They definitely did not get enough attention as somebody was basically only here spending the night she would leave anywhere between seven and eight in the morning and we would not see her come back until Five or later when I would text and ask her, she did originally tell us that she had to babysit about 4 hours a day but when I talked to her after we were gone, the first day because she had left and it was almost 4pm and still had not returned she said that she was waiting on the kids dad to get there but it was abnormal she would be this late it then turned into her telling me that she would be done by 2:30 from babysitting for now on, not the 4 hours like originally said, which I said was fine because at that point what am I to do, but she never came back to my house that early ever! It was always after 5. I had to contact her 2 times asking when she would be back to my house as I could see the dogs were getting upset and destroyed stuff. I return today after again she left early this morning and there was poop all over my main level of house from being left alone all day long.
