Pet care experience
Hi, my name is Raymond Weiss, but my friends call me R.J. My greatest joy in life is caring for animals. I’ve owned and cared for all types of animals, including bunnies, ferrets, dogs, cats, horses and more. I could not imagine my life without my animals. Rover is a full-time job for me and one I take very seriously. I mostly work with dogs these days, although I truly love all animals. I am experienced with all types of dog personalities, from anxious puppies to doggies that aren’t very good on a leash. I am professional and extremely patient, and I take time to learn what works best for your unique pup. I pledge to be responsive, flexible, and to send along a lot of cute pix. I’d be glad to host your pup in our spacious home in Ballard if the fit is right for both of us. I live here with my partner (who works from home and helps with the pups too!) and three kids, along with our dogs Coco (2) and Molly (13!). We are happy to care for puppies here, but they must be potty trained. We have a large home with a wrap-around yard/deck that is completely fenced in, so lots of room to play and run. It’s important that your pup be well-socialized and not treat/toy possessive (because this is a playful environment with lots of toys!). My clients’ dogs come home very happy and very tired from play time at our home.
Reviews
Raymond did a great job sitting out two dogs (who aren’t exactly easy!) as ways
RJ is great! Very responsive, friendly, trustworthy, flexible and great with our dog!
Raymond was super sweet and his home is lovely! His dog was very friendly and welcomed Jasper right in. He sent lots of photos and updates over the 24 hour stay. I highly recommend him!
Can’t say enough about how great RJ is with Phoebe!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a spacious outdoor area that is completely fenced in. We are also close to multiple parks (Ross, Gilman, etc.). The house is three stories with multiple living rooms and hang out spaces. Dogs are welcome on beds/couches unless you tell us not to. I generally do NOT take dogs to dog parks, for their safety and health - but I'm happy to if you want me to :)
Information Raymond W. would like to know about your pet
You are coming into a beautiful home with children (ages 13, 11 and 8) as well as a younger, very playful/energetic dog and a very elderly, mostly immobile dog too. For this reason, it's important that your dog be comfortable with both kids and other dogs. Potty-trained / crate-trained pups are a must as well. This is a busy family house with lots of activity - dogs have a BLAST here and feel part of the family. They will be very well-taken care of here :)
A typical day
With two dogs at home, your dog is gauranteed a built in playmate and a sense of family. Every client who comes back gets to see their dog excited and happy to return to their friends here. I have a lot of toys, do regular walks, and provide healthy treats (that you provide) on a daily basis. I have SUVs and can also take dogs to the park, but only if want us to - as I worry about exposure to illnesses at dog parks (and unpredictability of other dogs).

Availability
I am in and out with walks during mid-day but my partner is full time work from home and helps out with the doggies too (she loves them as much as me!).
