Pet care experience
My current job schedule allows me to be available 7 days a week, from 12p-10p. I used to volunteer at the Larimer County Humane Society in Fort Collins,CO before moving to Denver where I worked with all types of animals including dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, etc. My wife and I live in Aurora, but I can accomodate anyone in the Denver area within a 10 mile radius, but depending on the circumstance I would be willing to travel beyond 10 miles from our house. I have two dogs of my own and enjoy being around other dogs which I would assume is why everyone else on here chooses to become a dog walker/sitter. I have had animals, including dogs my whole life. I enjoy interacting with other dogs and animals in general. I'm looking for a way to supplement my full time job and I can't think of anything more enjoyable than being able to care for other people's dogs. I know how tough it can be to find dog sitters and walkers so I would like to be able to help out where and when I can.

We have a remodeled home interior and landscaped backyard, complete with a new wooden fence with a locked gate. This allows animals to roam the backyard without fear of anyone escaping.

A typical day
We have dogs of our own that like to run around the backyard and lay in the grass. We enjoy walking around our neighborhood or at a nearby park.

Availability
I currently work overnight/mornings, Monday-Thursday, so I’m home during the day and weekends. This allows me to have pretty much open availability to care for animals.
