Pet care experience
My son wanted a job to earn some money over the summer so we decided to combine our love of pets with the his budding entrepreneurship. I was tasked with the care of the household pets at his age and have cared for pets all my life as well as frequently being called on to help friends or family with their pets when they were at work or on vacation.

I'm extremely picky about who watches my dog, especially since he usually goes EVERYWHERE with me. Ray passed the test though. Neville was happy and adequately tired (he's a pointer, so unless you do a 16 mile bike ride...), and Ray himself was quick to respond, asked specific and appropriate questions, and was able to accommodate my dog 's raw diet. He watched Neville overnight and will definitely be utilizing him again when/if I need him in the future.
Ray has been a good friend for 36 years now. He has a great sense of responsibility and work ethic. Which I've seen him over the years instill in his son Caleb. On the side of pets, I've witnessed many they've had over the years. From the cats and dogs Ray had in our childhood, to the more recent pets he and his son had. In every instance they both have treated them with loving care. Each and every one of them was a cherished member of their family, and I personally feel anyone could rest easy knowing that their pets were in their care.

We live in a condo in northeast Anchorage right next to a park where we frequently go for walks and to play with the dog. On occasion we also like to go for walks on JBER, as it is very close. We have a dependable new vehicle with plenty of cargo space for transportation.

We enjoy dogs of all breeds, age, and personality. All friendly dogs are welcome. I am a registered nurse and am familiar with administering most medications and I am familiar with all the basic first aid needs your pet might have. If your pet has special needs, just ask and we will do our best to accommodate.
A typical day
We enjoy walks at the park right by our house but we also enjoy exploring new areas and trails that might be by your house. Costal Trail and Campbell Creek Trail are a few of our favorites.

Availability
I am a Registered Nurse at Providence and only work 3 days a week and my son is currently on summer break so we have multiple days each week to walk, sit, or care for your animal. One of my sons favorite thing is to do is walk his buddy Tony or just spend time with him.
