Certified Professional Dog Trainer

Pet care experience

I am an Animal Behavior College Certified Dog Trainer. My training centered around positive reinforcement training techniques. I volunteer at the Humane Society shelter regularly. My love for animals is my main drive in life. I am skilled with many types of collars and harnesses and implement various loose leash walking techniques to help reduce your dog's urge to pull. Also, as a trained professional, I can help desensitize your dog to distractions while out on a walk if your pup lunges at dogs, people, bicycles, etc. My education has provided me with the knowledge to assure your dog's safety, security and well being while in my care. I am certified in pet cpr and first aid and live close to many animal hospitals in the event of an emergency.

Ray was able to win over the very shy yet playful Asap. On first visit without us being home. He will be the go to for all our dog needs.

Ray was awesome! Archie stayed for two nights and must have had a blast because he’s been passed out since we returned home. Sleepy, happy pup. Ray is a dog trainer with two dogs of his own and offered a few appreciated tips for training Arch. Would recommend and book again!

Super friendly dude, down to earth, great communication, certified dog trainer. Ray knows what he's doing; definitely check him out. Thanks again, dude.

Ray would be an excellent dog caregiver and is highly recommended by me. I've known Ray for many years. He is gentle, kind and attentive toward all animals, not just dogs, and has spent a great deal of his life advocating for the well being and protection of animals. His lifestyle supports his passion. He lives what he believes. If his genuine compassion alone isn't enough to place full confidence in him, he's also a very talented and experienced dog trainer. Ray has a natural ability and confidence to get even the most young excitable dog to focus within a matter of seconds. I've never seen Ray fearful of or frustrated by a dog, because I've never seen a dog not recognize Ray as the leader in charge. Ray has worked with my dog personally. He's an older dog. The saying goes that you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but I've seen Ray teach him new things that I'd never imagine he'd be able to learn. I've also seen Ray on a few occasions stop a family with a new excited puppy and show them training tips to help out at home simply because he saw a need. I've met many people who love animals, but I've never met someone who devotes their life to it the way Ray does. He has the rare combination of passion and talent and I couldn't recommend him more.
