Home full-time, plenty of walks.

Pet care experience

I have had dogs all my life and have always considered them part of the family. I am a mommy to two beautiful dogs who I adore with all my heart now. They are very friendly and lovable. I have a pretty flexible schedule. I’m available anytime Monday through Thursday and most of Saturday and Sunday if requested in advance. I am able to walk them around the clock, take them to dog parks, feed, love and bathe them. I am able to board over night as well. I do enjoy teaching dogs basic commands like sit, stay and lay. I can provide plenty of toys, fun and interaction. I do not have any children, I only live with my fiancé. I have a reliable car and willing to meet for an interview if need be. How I will avoid any dogs from getting out the door is to keep it closed at all times. Also to avoid them from getting out of a fenced in area is to keep the gate closed and keep a close eye on them at all times. I will always check my surroundings before letting a dog of the leash to ensure their safety. Some situations you may need to introduce new dogs is if they were being boarded together over night or before letting them play together if they have never met. I would want them to meet on neutral ground like outside, in a large, open, safely fenced space. I would like them to get acquainted with each other while still on the harness. I would watch the dogs behavior, they should seem interested in each other, waging tails and play bows. If in any case I notice a dog being food aggressive with any other dog I would feed them in separate rooms and for the dog who eats fast I would start to play with him/her first to to distract their attention. I believe every dog is an individual and shows anxiety in their own way which means different calming techniques. I would identify what causes the stress such as separation anxiety then try to calm them down with physical contact like petting them or sitting near them and talk to them. Also Exercise can be a great way to help with anxiety because sometimes their anxiety can cause uncontrollable energy. I do not have any preference of dog breed or size. I have grown up with many different breed dogs and sizes. What I would like to know about the dog before sitting him/her is: If they have aggressive behavior to other dogs. If they have aggressive food behavior. How they walk on a leash. Their eating patterns. How often they potty and if they take any medicine.

Ravenn made sure my two puppies received the care and attention they needed, and my house was very well kept! She even fed my cat and hamster for me. In fact, my house seemed cleaner when I returned, than the day I left for work. Ravenn is very friendly, trustworthy and dependable. You will not be disappointed!

Ravenn would be an amazing dog sitter by the love she will provide for dogs all kinds. When talking to ravenn you get a comfortable feeling how friendly she is. Ravenn is a very responsible person always organized and puts everything she has into it . She has two of her own dogs and seeing how she takes them to parks and play and how she treats them like her own children you would be amazed by the tricks she’s taught her dog. Ravenn should be a dog sitter cause it wouldn’t brad job for her it would be a hobby.

We are very fortunate to have Ravenn in our lives. We can leave our dog in her care and have complete confidence that our dog will be safe, happy, and cared for very well. In addition, knowing that a mature, responsible, trustworthy person like Ravenn will be taking care of our Mellie. Ravenn is always easy to reach by e-mail or phone; she always replies promptly to our requests for pet-sitting, and is very thorough and explicit in her communications with us. I would recommend ravenn to any family that wants their dog to be happy and safe.
