Can't wait to meet your fur babies!
Pet care experience
I’m sure you're nervous about having a stranger in your home, and I don’t blame you. When I travel abroad I am always nervous about my fur babies, plants, and what my house and property will look like when I return. I’ve been on both ends of that coin flip so I know first hand how important reliability, practicality, and trust are when leaving your everyday life in someone else's hands. Am I what you’re looking for? Name is Raven and the pleasure of meeting you is all mine! I am in my 30’s currently living in Baltimore, Maryland. My 2 fur babies are more spoiled than I’d like to admit. Emily, a sweet elderly girl is on a special diet and meds to keep her as happy and healthy as possible. Kaz, my teenager, wants to play constantly and loves to be outside. There’s nothing better than curling up with your fur babies at the end of a long day! Oh, you want all the extras? DOG WALKING includes ONE 30 minute walk with treats. DROP IN includes ONE 30 minute walk with treats and clean up with feeding upon request. HOUSE SITTING includes THREE 30 minute walks (2nd with treats), feedings, medications, and clean up with overnight stay available upon request. Puppy fee includes 4 hour potty breaks. **If you need something in between Drop In and House Sitting please choose House Sitting and we can discuss your exact needs further**

We can discuss just about anything that needs to be done while I am managing your fur babies and I will do my best to accommodate you and your fur babies needs. Still nervous?? Got questions? Would you like to face time? Meet for coffee? How can I make you feel at ease, like you’re leaving your everyday life in the hands of a close friend? I can’t wait to care for your home and fur babies while you take a much needed break!
Information Raven L. would like to know about your pet
Let's face it, I'm not Mom, just the really cool auntie. Who is your vet? Where is the closest emergency vet? What is your normal day-to-day routine? Please be completely transparent about your pup. Allergies, food consumption, anxiety, depression, and high prey drive can be issues I am willing to work with. However, I would like to be proactive in my responses to behavior and physical needs. When a dog is calm and tired post-walk I like to take advantage of that time to work on essentials that are tough when a dog is amped up, like crate training. If there are ongoing medications, or training (puppy or behavior management) please arrange for a meet and greet so you can show me your methods for consistency.
A typical day
We all know that we’re supposed to walk our dogs at least once a day, and yet studies have shown that 20% of us don’t walk our dogs everyday. That's where I come in... Did you know dog walks are about more than just physical exercise? Your dogs walk is (usually) the only time they get to go out and explore each day. I give them a little extra time to sniff around. All those smells provide your dog with stimulation and information, it’s their way of keeping track of what’s going on in the neighborhood. You’d be surprised at how exhausting a nice ‘sniffer’ walk can be for your dog compared to a brisk 15 minute one around the neighborhood with no sniff breaks. We often focus on just the physical aspect of walking, but keep in mind that extra mental stimulation your dog gets from sniffing really adds up.

Availability
Are you going away for a day, week, month, or longer? While you’re away I will manage your home as if it were my own. Pups go out at 6am and on a strict schedule? No problem, I’m an early riser. I work a flexible part time job and schedule is not typically an issue.
